Most of Deisig’s design work has its roots on the island of Lanzarote, where Deisig spends some creative time every year.

The cultural department of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, the island government, organised an exhibition of Deisig’s design work, emphasising that the spirit of this unique island can inspire creativity.

The route of Design – from Lanzarote – conceptual ideas and first sketches via the studio in Berlin – visual and technical implementation in 2D and 3D to the US – engineering, marketing and production.

The exhibition underlined the spirit of the island as a place for inspiration, reflection and creativity for the work of a globally active product designer.
